How I Update My Home with Spring Wreaths
If you’re ready to bring a little spring into your home, I have a Collection of Wonderful Wreaths that I think should bring some Spring into your home.
There’s something about this time of year that makes everything feel just a little lighter. The days are longer, the air feels softer, and naturally, I start looking around my home thinking… what can I do to freshen things up?
If you’re feeling the same way, I want to share one of my favorite, easiest decorating tricks with you.
Wreaths.
Yes… not just for the front door anymore.
Over the years, I’ve found that wreaths are one of the simplest ways to bring a little seasonal charm into your home without overthinking it or spending a fortune. And the best part? You can use them almost anywhere.
Why Wreaths Are My Go-To for Spring Decorating
I love decorating, but I don’t always want to completely redo a space every season. Sometimes, I just want a small change that makes a big impact.
That’s exactly what wreaths do.
They add:
- A soft pop of color
- Texture and depth
- A finished, styled look
All without needing to move furniture or buy a dozen new pieces.
And in spring, especially, they bring that fresh, cheerful feeling indoors that we’ve all been craving after winter.
The Beauty of Mixing Styles
🌸 Soft Floral Wreaths
These are perfect when you want to bring in that gentle spring feeling. Tulips, peonies, and cherry blossoms create a light, uplifting look that works beautifully in living rooms, bedrooms, or even kitchens.
🤍 Neutral & Classic Wreaths
If you prefer something a little more subtle, white blooms and soft greenery are always a safe (and beautiful) choice. They blend effortlessly into your existing decor while still adding that cozy, finished touch.
🌿 Greenery Wreaths
Fresh greens are perfect if you want something clean and simple. These are especially nice if your home already has a neutral palette and you don’t want too much color.
🌼 Cheerful & Colorful Wreaths
And then there are those bright, happy wreaths—full of daisies, wildflowers, and vibrant tones. These are perfect for entryways or anywhere you want to make a statement.
Where You Can Use Wreaths (Beyond the Front Door)
This is where it gets fun.
Most people think of wreaths as something you hang outside… but I’ve found they can be just as beautiful inside your home.
Here are a few of my favorite places:
Entryway
A wreath in your entryway sets the tone the moment you walk in. It’s such a welcoming touch and instantly makes your space feel styled.
Kitchen
Yes… even the kitchen. Hang one on a cabinet door or an empty wall, and it adds charm without taking up counter space.
Living Room
Above a mantel, on a mirror, or even layered over artwork—wreaths can soften a space and add interest.
Dining Area
Try placing a wreath flat on your table with a candle in the center. It creates a simple, beautiful centerpiece with very little effort.
Bedroom
A small wreath above the bed or on a dresser mirror adds just enough detail without feeling overwhelming.
How to Choose the Right Wreath for Your Space
If you’ve ever looked at a wreath and thought, I love it, but I’m not sure where I’d put it, you’re not alone.
Here’s how I keep it simple:
- Match your color palette – Choose tones that already exist in your space
- Think about size – Larger wreaths make a statement, smaller ones add subtle charm
- Consider your style – Cottage, modern, farmhouse… there’s a wreath for all of it
And most importantly…
Don’t overthink it.
If you love it, it will work.
A Simple Way to Refresh Your Home
What I love most about decorating with wreaths is how effortless it feels.
You don’t need a full makeover.
You don’t need to spend hours rearranging.
You just hang one… and suddenly the space feels different.
- Brighter
- Warmer.
- More you. . . .
A Little Spring Inspiration
I recently rounded up a collection of wreaths I absolutely love—from soft florals to fresh greenery—and I couldn’t help but share them.
Each one brings something a little different:
- A hint of romance
- A touch of color
- A clean, classic look
It’s a mix that works for just about any space, whether you’re decorating your front door, your balcony, or a quiet corner inside your home.
My Final Thoughts
If your home has been feeling a little tired lately, this might be exactly what you need.
Start small.
Find one wreath you love.
Hang it somewhere unexpected.
And just see how it makes you feel.
Because sometimes, it’s not about changing everything… it’s about adding one simple touch that brings your home back to life.
