Life on Sylvan Lane
Are there days that you feel like you are a Juggler? There just doesn’t seem to be enough hours in a day. What’s that you say, take time for yourself, please!
Well I want to be totally honest, I played hooky yesterday. Yes, that’s right and I’m not ashamed to talk about it. I turned on Netflix and started binge watching a series, junk food and sweatpants. Let me tell you, I did not even give it a thought.
Then I took a nice long hot bubble bath and off to bed I went. It felt wonderful…Awwhhhh….
Today I woke up refreshed, energetic and said to the Universe,
“Bring It”! I’m ready.
So I thought I would share some ways of doing Self Care “On the Fly”. Sometimes we have a tendency to put way too much thought into something and by the time we’re done it is a chore and not an enjoyment. I hope my Self-Care “On The Fly” list will be helpful to you like it was for me.
It is not an indulgence or selfish to engage in an act of self-care. Our Body, Mind and Spirit need regeneration and replenishment. These little breaks allow us to feel and be our best. Has it been so long since you gave yourself permission to have some self-care time….
I have some time-wise suggestions below. It is like my Daily, Weekly or Monthly Self-Care Planner..
Calming Self-Care Ideas
See that wasn’t t so bad of a list, was it? If I’ve left anything out, that’s important to you, just add it to the list. The important thing is; take time for You!. It all starts with You!
I hope it will encourage and help you to get excited about “feeling good about feeling good”. Give yourself the gift of love….
As you indulge in these delightful at-home spa treatments, remember to savor each moment and embrace the tranquility that comes with pampering yourself. Taking time to decompress and enjoy life is essential, and what better way to do it than in the comfort of your own home? Whether you’re luxuriating in a homemade facial or a refreshing body scrub, these little rituals can make a big difference in your well-being. So light some candles, play your favorite soothing music, and let your worries melt away. You’ve earned this time for yourself, and I hope you feel rejuvenated and refreshed. Enjoy every blissful moment, and don’t forget to make self-care a regular part of your routine.
